The Configuration Manager must prepare a Technology Asset And Configuration Status Report which contains the status of the
technology configuration items and assets. This report must be communicated to the agreed stakeholders at an agreed
frequency (as mentioned in the Service Governance Plan).
This report provides an insight into the current and historical state of the technology configuration items and assets. It
even helps to detect the unauthorized technology configuration items and assets in the system . The configuration status
reporting, notifies team members about the checked-out configuration items, and modified asset library.
